Green Zebra

so this is how it really is - the posting isn't quite as frequent as i'd like and this blog will suck as much as every other one. whatever.

Green Zebra. vegetarian restaurant. decor: excellent, especially the room layout. food: quite good waiter: kinda douchey, though the waitress at the table next to ours looked like she was a lot cooler. she had a green cast on her hand. our guy was smug and not very nice. even when he almost poured our wine into our neighbors glasses and i busted his balls a little bit, he didnt acknowldege his fuckup or break a smile.

great experience and better than i thought, but one of those one time things like moto. real glad i went, but it's not on the repeat list - especially given the cost/pleasure ratio. i got all 3 "courses" and didn't feel full really - lots of great mushrooms though.

wine list was good but pricey. 27$ for 1/3 bottle sancerre. 31$ for a gruner veltliner that's 20 at lula.

the young married couple next to us looked to be having no fun at all. people: eating out is fun. if you feel like you're in church, then don't go to the restaurant and just eat at your favorite neighborhood joint. the girl had a monster rock on her hand, couldnt have been over 30. older waspy table to the one side who was enjoying themselves, and another table with a girl with dyed bright red hair presumably being taken out by her parents. fancy pants vegatarians will love it, but im not a vegetarian.

it's sort of like seeing an obscure art film. glad you saw it, but no desire to ever see it again.
